Vernon Fiddler Makes Alain Vigneault Giggle

Alain Vigneault

The Canucks and Stars faced off in an early afternoon game at the American Airlines Center on Saturday, and half way through the first period forward Vernon Fiddler was doing his best to lighten the mood at ice level.

As Fiddler skated by the visitors’ bench the forward broke out his notorious Kevin Bieksa angry face impression much to the gleeful enjoyment of Canucks Head Coach Alain Vigneault who was caught in a giggle fit by the Sportsnet cameras.

Dan Murphy tweeted during the first intermission that Fiddler has kept the impression to himself since his days with the Nashville Predators, but broke it out Sunday to rave reviews.

UPDATE 7:20 PST -  Thanks to friend of the blog Lukas J. for the link to a video feed that quickly displays Fiddler’s funny facial expressions.

As soon as the embed code begins to cooperate it will be posted.

Canucks fans await patiently for Bieksa to break out his angry face himself. Juice is fairly entertaining when he’s angry.
